Pia’s message evanesced the darkness from his empty heart
and filled it again with love. No regrets on anything and Mannu couldn’t even
understand how come he didn’t have a pain in his heart? Probably, he was
happier for her more than for himself. In God’s own language this is what true
love is.
“Plzzz eat smthing...I
2 haven’t eaten since yesterday night...Buy a soft drink n a cake n do order
for dinner in the pantry...Swear on my name that u will do it...Reply...”
Mannu smiled after reading her message. He had comfortably
boarded the train and everything including emotions was set to place.
“dun wry darling...I
swear on u dat i’ll take care...but u no widout u I can’t really care me...I
have no complaint 4 all dat happened...All i know is dat today was the rebirth
of our love...Now I need u more...I love u more n i’ll kiss u more and
more...muuuuuuaaaaahhhhh...”
Amidst the plunge of the train Mannu replied and he knew
she’ll cry more reading the last line.
“U no hw 2 make me
smile...ok nw b safe...m all urs...my soul my heart and my body...I wish u,
mummy and Papa a very very HAPPY DIWALI...I love u...love u a lot more 4m
2day...I’m still crying coz I’m so happy 2 have u...I miss u...I love u...”
Reading this message brought tears in Mannu’s eyes too. He
climbed up to his bert to avoid the eyes of other passengers. Contentment had
normalized the heart beats. All the sacrifices, lies and tears had won him one
second of love. Oh God! At last he had done it.
He looked at the wrist watch. Tick. One second over. Tock. Another
second over! And smiled again. How small a second is, but this one was really
big enough to give him the spirit to move on again.
